Amber Weaver

I am certified in Pilates and Yoga and have a strong background in the health and fitness industry. In 2014 I received my B.S. in Alternative Medicine which included many studies in holistic health.
My ultimate goal is to help others find peace and happiness within themselves. I believe we all posses the desire to find balance in our mind and body. I fell in love with yoga during the pregnancy of my third child and it instantly became a very important part of my life. Recently I completed my 200hr YTT with Paige Held and Kelly Green and my hope is to share my knowledge and experience with others. Everyone deserves to live a life they love!

Mattthew Gaines

Matthew Gaines has been practicing yoga since 1996. He has been teaching as a certified yoga instructor since 2004. Matthew is passionate about Traditional, Classic Yoga and the eight limb path for its originally intended purpose of helping people to heal and wake up to their potential, and recognize our oneness when consciousness has been corrected and healed through discipline action, focus, concentration and self awareness. It is his intention to share Yoga in its essence so that people can live in the responsibility of being in peace and harmony with each other and all of life, as that starts with loving ourselves, and Yoga is a wonderful tool to help bring us into that living experience.

Amy Frank

Born and raised in New Jersey, Amy Frank developed her love of movement and all things kinetic at an early age. She started her training in classical ballet which she continued through college and after as a hobby. A graduate of Tufts University, she studied Child Psychology and Advertising and joined the rat race in New York City sitting at a desk for long hours. Pilates, yoga and running did more than keep her healthy. Each exercise was a moving meditation in which she could process emotion, let go of every day stress and cultivate the connection between body and mind.

After moving to South Florida and having children, she discovered Hot Yoga and immediately recognized the benefits she received from her practice both on and off of the mat.

Life gave her a second opportunity to pursue the path she felt she was always meant for: a career incorporating her passion for yoga, love for anatomy and desire to help others. Since completing her 200 RYT training with Jimmy Barkan of the Barkan Method, she has been guiding others to let go of negativity and open their hearts to their own inner strength.

Amy believes that the real yoga happens when you walk outside the studio. Her goal is to connect with her students on a personal level to help them quiet their mind, focus on their alignment and stay present. Exercise is more than just staying physically fit; it is about nurturing mental health, growth, transformation and healing… all while having fun and smiling.

Marisa Leal

Marisa is a 3rd generation yogi! Her exposure to vinyasa started in her early childhood,although it wasn’t until her late teenage years that she fell in love with the practice. Marisa began her teacher training in 2013 and was certified through Leslie Glickman (RYS 200 hour) at Yoga Journey in early 2015. Since then Marisa has grown tremendously in her practice both as a teacher and student and is inspired to share the gift of yoga with others. She believes the mind, body, soul connection is a sacred one, and one that should be nurtured and loved. With that mentality, she teaches her classes from her heart creating an uplifting, safe environment for students to begin to explore and expand within their own body and consciousness.

Vikky Santana

Vikky Santana, 500-hour RYT, was born and raised in Miami, Fl. and lives with her daughter in Coral Springs, FL. She was introduced to yoga 20 years ago but it wasn’t until the birth of her daughter 13 years ago that she really saw her life’s purpose. “Yoga literally saved my life. I am compelled to teach all aspects of the practice in the hopes of helping others help themselves.”

In 2010 she completed her first 200hr RYT certification and soon after her 100hr Philosophy certification at Philip Christodoulou's Anuttara Yoga Shala. She continued her education with BEa Raydo at Yoga Connection earning her 300hr RYT.

She’s taken her wisdom and created Kriya Yin Yoga a systematic yogic practice done on the floor with the primary purpose of deepening your awareness of body, mind and spirit. It’s meditation, breath work and yin to calm the mind and feed the soul.

Her flow classes are challenging, funny and insightful. Vikky’s philosophy about yoga is, “The mat is our “life nursery.” On the mat we learn the skills needed to flow with equanimity off the mat.” She teaches off the mat and provides verbal and hands-on assists to help you with your practice. The music is contemporary and upbeat. Known as the #hugthug, don’t be surprised if she hugs you tight.

HOT POWER FLOW IS A POWERFUL, ENERGETIC FORM OF YOGA WHERE STUDENTS FLUIDLY MOVE FROM ONE POSE TO THE NEXT WHILE CONNECTING THEIR BREATHING TO THEIR MOVEMENTS. THIS TYPE OF YOGA IS TAUGHT IN A HEATED STUDIO WHICH MAKES IT A VIGOROUS AND REVITALIZING FORM OF PHYSICAL FITNESS. IT INCORPORATES STRENGTH, FLEXIBILITY, BALANCE, CARDIO AS WELL AS PHYSICAL AND MENTAL STAMINA IN ONE SESSION. THIS PRACTICE IS A PERFECT BLEND OF SWEAT AND SERENITY.
