Cortney has been practicing yoga since 2010 and obtained her 200 hr Yoga Alliance certification through American Yoga in Deerfield Beach. She is trained in classic Ashtanga Vinyasa style yoga, yet has adapted her own style to incorporate creativity & fitness into her sequences, making for fun and challenging classes. As a former dancer and gymnast, yoga was an inevitable transition as she evolved spiritually. Cortney truly believes that yoga is a mind, body and soul journey through which the best version of oneself can be found. She also believes that in order to truly awaken the soul, one must first quiet the mind. Focusing on prana (breath) and allowing intuition to serve as a guide, Cortney begins and ends each class with purpose and meaningful enlightenment, allowing her students an opportunity to look within themselves and grow spiritually.
