Mikhail Nazaryev

Originally from the Russian Ural Mountains. Mikhail has been living in the USA (Northern Virginia) for 4 years. He has been working with the USA Aerobics Gymnastics national team. He has trained multiple international and national champions.

Mikhail has been  doing gymnastics for over 15 years and fitness since 2008. He is in love with the active sports lifestyle.

He is a Federation International Gymnastics European and World Series Cup champion. He is also holds the World Games title. 
He has a Fitness Science Master degree.
By competing at the highest levels and working with the great professionals all around the world, Mikhail is excited to bring the best of fitness and body weight training standards to Evolution Yoga.



Mikhail Nazaryev instructs the following:
  • Hot Pilates
  • 95 degrees 
    40% humidity
    Balls, Bands and Blocks are used in this class to assist in creating proper form and to intensify certain exercises.  This class uses the technique of traditional mat pilates and the intensity of cardio intervals to create a whole body work out.  

  • TRX
  • TRX Suspension Training utilizes gravity & your own body weight to challenge your muscles & test your endurance. This class uses functional movements & balance to challenge & strengthen the stabilizing muscles in the body, while remaining suitable & accessible for all levels. This unheated class may contain mobility, cardio, & strength drills to complement the TRX experience.

  • Barefoot Boot Camp (Heated)
  • Using traditional and not so traditional kettlebell drills, and other props, combined with high intensity interval training to build on your fitness foundation, this class is designed to introduce you to functional movement training and weight baring exercises!
     
    Although the class is intense, it is considered an ALL LEVELS CLASS. You will spend the hour finding your 100% maximal effort, no matter where you start from!

  • Kettlebell Bootcamp (Heated)
  • A high intensity, nonstop, heart racing 60 minute cardio Class! this class consists of Kettlebells, Bands, Dumbbells, and body-weight exercises in a room heated to right under 100 degrees. all students should bring a Yoga mat, towel, and water bottle.

  • TRX Bootcamp
  • Suspension training with a bootcamp/cardio flare! in this intense 60 minute bootcamp class the instructor uses multiple modalities ranging from Kettlebells, Battleropes, Steel Maces, Bands, Dumbbells, and of course the TRX to create a fun and dynamic 1 hour thrilling experience! All levels welcome. a yoga mat is optional but encouraged, and always have a water bottle for hydration!  

  • Battle Ropes Q-20
  • Only have a short time for a workout? This high intensity interval training class combines elements of velocity training with cardiovascular exercise to create power! Your muscles get a workout as well as your heart & lungs.  Quick calorie expenditure using the body's natural range of motion makes this an efficient workout. Build towards continuous movement for 20 minutes straight without rest.
     

  • Handstand Happiness
  • Newbies welcome! In this class, we will progressively build foundational skills for a solid and comfortable handstand. Using partner drills and solo work, students will increase the flexibility and strength necessary for finding a stable handstand line. As students get more comfortable on their hands, we will begin to add creative movement to increase their stability and confidence in a variety of handstand shapes. Students who can comfortably hold a handstand will work on presses, more challenging shapes, and other dynamic entrances into handstand. This is the perfect class if you are working on your handstand or trying to build the skills for a solid handstand!

  • LOVE H.I.I.T.
  • HIIT, or high-intensity interval training, is a training technique in which you give all-out, one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time.

  • Bootcamp (All Levels)

  • Dance Gymnastics Ages 6-12

  • Circuit Bootcamp
  • Circuit Bootcamp is an all levels, total body, high intensity, fast paced workout that will test your limits and push you to the max! In this bootcamp, a combination of TRX,  kettlebells, ropes, resistance bands and body weight exercises will be used to ensure a great calorie and fat burning workout.

  • Competitive Bootcamp (non heated)
  • Compete against yourself and your friends in the exciting fast paced bootcamp. For all levels, but have your ice bath ready the next day.

  • Advanced Handstands Ages 6-10
  • For the advanced practitioner, competitive cheerleader or gymnast. Advance your flexibility, coordination and power. Make your handstands effortless.
