Kara Jane Wilkinsky

Kara-Jane has been outgoing, spirited and energetic since childhood. She has a passion for living life to its fullest and bringing others along for the ride. Although her love of yoga happened a little later in life, it has integrated itself into her everyday way of living.

While having dabbled in a variety of yoga classes over the past 10 years, her passion for yoga ignited when she stepped into a live vocal, candlelit Yin Yoga practice at a studio that offered childcare. Having been a stay-at-home mom for over 5 years, she was looking for something more, something she could call her own. The profound experience set her forth on a journey to not only deepen her physical practice, but explore the spiritual side she had not yet discovered. Through yoga, Kara-Jane has learned to live a more balanced life, taking the teachings learned in her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training and Connection Coalition Trauma Informed Outreach Training on and off the mat. Her passion is to share the positive effects yoga has had upon her life in hopes of continuing this positive effect among others.

Having been a competitive dancer and cheerleader growing up, she incorporates high energy flows and up-beat music into her classes. You will also find slow, mindful movements that allow students to work inward and focus on their own personal journey. Kara-Jane welcomes all yogis, new and practiced alike, and hopes to bring the fun and healing aspects of yoga to all.

  • This intelligently sequenced class is set to 105 degrees with 40% humidity and inspired by the original 84 postures of the Ghosh Yoga method. Students can expect consistency in class structure as well as instruction for both deepening and modifying, as well as clear precise instruction for entering and exiting poses. Benefits include:
